When I first spotted the belt bag trend this time last year, I was really excited about them! I knew they probably wouldn’t be worn daily, but they would be a fun accessory to style for nights out. And style it up more like an belt that happens to have a little bag on it, verses a purse that’s at your waist. Do you understand the difference? I wore one last summer over a dress here, and with my high waisted jeans and a printed top here. And I love how that summery version totally made the outfits! Don’t you think!?

Now to the black belt bag I’m wearing with gold hardware above I bought earlier this fall for photoshoots. I knew I wanted to find a high quality real leather bag with gold hardware. I was blown away to find this one at Nordstrom! I love the size, as it holds a lot, which is exactly what I needed. As I always need the most random about of things on me on shoots at a moments notice, this is perfect! I then have used it a ton outside of shoots too! It fits my Madewell wallet and keys plus a lipstick! Which for all my mamas, I feel like it’s perfect! Because I feel like as soon as I put my wallet and keys in the baby bag, I then leave it in the car or at home, and this belt bag is so easy to just top on over my shoulder. And to be totally honest I thought wearing on over my shoulder, was kind of dumb at first, but then I tried it, and I LOVE IT! It’s easy to just toss on and use! Like running into the grocery store, getting gas, running into Target (haha you’ll need the diaper bag for this trip). But, like if you get a magical moment to go to Target alone, then you most definitely just need this bag, your red card, and your phone. And you’re all set!
