Birthday Look + Nashelle Giveaway

Last weekend I rang in my 28th (time to get serious, yeah right!) birthday with my sweetheart at novel in KC. It's an amazing local restaurant that I'm super obsessed with. Literally everything I've ever tried is amazing! I had seared scallops on a bed of pureed butternut squash, Kev (my husband) had the pork shop bone marrow with pork belly, absolutely insanely delish! If you haven't gone - make any excuse to go, you will not be disappointed!
As for what I wore - I spotted this dress on Jess at KCFW and literally stalked her to find out where she got it and then called the store to pick it up the next Monday. NBD when this girl's on a mission, she can't be stopped. And yes - if you're a client of mine you totally understand what I am talking about. If you text me and need help finding the perfect dress to wear to a special occasion, you better believe I won't stop until you've got exactly what you need to feel absolutely perfect! Don't you just love when you know you're totally killing it in a look you love!? I know I do! And that's totally how I felt in this fitted striped number. I loved the silhouette and asymmetrical hem line. I added my new black pumps, tights, leopard clutch and statement necklace (a present my one of my besties) to finish the look.
The weekend was exactly what I needed to recharge for this super busy week! I've loved the response you've all had to the new blog! Keep all of the ideas coming. It's so fun to hear about what you all want to read about!
