Re-styled Pieces

Forever 21 boyfriend sweater (old) similar here, J.Crew skirt, Frye booties c/o Piperlime, Holiday Mart hat similar here, Charming Charlie's purse (unavailable online) similar style here, Stella and Dot necklace, Silpada necklace (sold out) similar here, David Yurman ring, H&M tights

I have to say I love when I get to re-style pieces from my wardrobe into a whole new look I've never worn before. It makes it so much more rewarding to wear something you love in a new way. Sounds silly, but hey, I made an investment in a piece and I want to be able to wear it as many ways as possible. I dig the flowy silhouette of the boyfriend sweater over the fitted mini skirt, the balance is golden. I had to throw on my tights for warmth, of course. I added a big brimmed hat for two reasons, the first, my hair was a little wack and second, I love it! Oh and I opted for the chestnut colored booties instead of black to keep the look a bit more casual. I did try on the black booties with this look, but it just seemed a little to dressy, ya know what I mean. Oh and have you guys heard that Marsala is the Pantone color for 2015. I feel like this bag fits the bill and I'm totally cool with that. What do you think? How do you feel about the color Marsala for the color of the year for 2015?

xo,
