Raise your hand if you had an awesome weekend and got to enjoy the beautiful weather (well, I hope that where ever you are - it was great!) I had the most fun this weekend entertaining one of my best friends from college all over KC. She came up this just to hand and explore KC. So this is what we did!

Friday: Dinner at Lulu's  - for the Pad Thai (of course) and then drinks at Coal Vines on the plaza. They had the best live music and killer atmosphere.

Saturday: Volunteered at Harvesters with JLKCMO, lunch at Five Guys, shopping on the Plaza (found some super awesome pieces), dinner and wine tasting at Cellar and Loft (if you haven't been there you are seriously missing out).

Sunday: Brunch at First Watch (it's just so good), shopping at Town Center Crossing (Paper Source for Valentine's Day cards and Le Creuset and then she headed back to OK. Girl's weekends are simply the best. 

Then I headed over to The River Market Event Space for the first Bloom Academy workshop. If you've been interested in becoming a floral guru or have ever wanted to know how to make a proper bouquet, then you should sign up for The Bloom Academy to learn more about how to make grocery store blooms look gorgeous. 

All in all it was a super awesome weekend and am ready to take on the week! 

PS - this is an awesome dress for Valentine's Day, don't you think?
