Where ever you are I hope you had a gorgeous weekend filled with warm weather, laughter, and fun memories. This weekend was amazing - simply because it was absolutely amazing here in KC. Lots of rays and fun events all over the city! 

If you follow me on instagram you probably caught a glimpse of the 435 Mag shoot I styled in Friday! It was such an amazing experience and I can't wait to show you the final spread when it is printed in April! Then Kev and I went to the Junior League of Kansas City, MO fundraiser Take Five! Save the date for this event next year because it's amazing. This year it was held at Hotel Sorella on the plaza and everything was amazing! The food, drinks, and raffles were simply amazing! Then we totally brunched on Saturday and played Settlers of Catan. Please tell me you love this game, and have some awesome stories to tell about it. We played with our friends we had never played it before with, and things are good, we're still friends. (If you've played it - you know it can definitely be an intense game for sure). Then we headed to Cellar and Loft for a great wine tasting and run in with friends. Be bopped it home early (thank goodness). We definitely needed it. Sunday morning we made it to brunch with the fam and then chilled out at home. All in all it was one nice weekend. What did you do this weekend? Anything fun?

Now, for this outfit. I totally scored this skirt during the Piperlime 50% off final sale they had a few weeks ago. I couldn't even believe it! I also wanted to wear this stripe dress, but it can feel a little on the shorter  sides sometimes, so I thought well why not just combine the two and rock the dress as a shirt!? right!? so I did! What do you think? Have you pair together a skirt and a dress to create one new look? It's definitely really fun to mix it up! 

So I encourage you to mix it up this week and step out of your comfort zone and wear a whole new look, just for fun!
