KCFW outfit: day one
Last night I had a blast at the Kansas City Fashion Week rooftop-pool-runway-show at One Light! I wore a stripe maxi dress and a moto jacket that I have owned forever! So since those items aren't shoppable anymore, I wanted to create the same look with pieces from Shopbop!
I love a good moto jacket - black will always be my go-to, but I also really like the rich deep colors like maroon, tan, and olive. This is a great piece to wear over your sweetest dress to really edge up the look. I definitely wear mine like it is going out of style.
And if you've been around a while you know that I LOVE a great stripe, especially a stripe dress. They are great by themselves, or layered underneath a great jacket, like the moto jacket!
Now for the accessories - the asymmetrical earring trend is super hot right now. I am going to try it out this week and can't wait to share how it goes. Have you tried it yet? What's your favorite way to wear it? I'd honestly love to know! And lastly, a great black bootie. I think I wear these at least every other day, if not everyday. I love have a low or thick heal so I can wear them all day, and not worry about my feet hurting. Don't you agree?
