Did you notice that New Year's Eve is tomorrow!? Yeah well me either. We've made plans to go to dinner with friends for awhile now, but since we're basically on vacation with the family, these days just blend together. So for those of y'all that need something a little more practical to wear for the NYE celebrations, this simple all black look if for you! Grab your favorite pair of black jeans, a classic turtle neck and gold accessories to had the perfect amount of glitz that the day deserves.

Now, how do y'all feel about New Years resolutions? I always like the idea of them. But, just like everyone else don't usually execute them very well. One thing that's been on my mind is that I want to use my voice to speak love and light into those I love. I've noticed that I'm usually pretty tough on the people I love and pretty sarcastic too. I don't like that I give them such a hard time no matter how funny it might me. So, I will be working on sharing how I truly feel about them, to them. This will be a stretch for me and my comfort zone - but I really do want to speak love and light to those I love. I already have started to just acknowledge and comment on actions that are helpful and wonderful - especially to my sweet husband. He does so much for us everyday and truly needs be recognized for it.

So, I'll stick with working on controlling my tongue and will work on saying things that are helpful and full of truth. I just need to remember that just because I think it, that's doesn't always mean it needs to be said. No matter how perfect the timing or how funny it might be.

I also dig the idea of creating goals for 2017 and making this new year great. I want create a killer launch for a new business that supports a passion of mine (more on that soon), style more consistently now that Bennett is here and potentially do at least one styled shoot (get at me if you'd like to collaborate on one), and keep creating baller content that truly helps and impacts your lives. I plan to embrace this new life as a mom without being "mommy blogger" ish. That might seem contradictory - but I just want to share real outfits that you can afford and find to be a little bit elevated too while sharing what my mom journey is really like. And finally, I can't wait to travel more with Kevin and Bennett! It might seem wild and crazy, but we want to keep moving and shaking with Bennett and have him be apart of these new memories we're making!

Now that I've shared what I hope 2017 looks like, let me know what you're looking forward too! Oh, and if you want to see anything in here let me know!

xo,
