First Tri - Mama Wear
Shopbop dress, Dolce Vita sandals, Rebecca Minkoff bag, Silpada necklace
When it comes to this whole maternity shopping thing and trying to figure out how to style this little bump, this dress totally takes the cake. Some days I can find pants that fit at the top, and some days the only thing I want to wear is a loose swingy dress. It's definitely tough to know how the bump is going to feel depending on what I'm wearing. So you can imagine it's been super interesting this first trimester has been and how nuts it's been trying to find pieces in my wardrobe that still work and find pieces that will work later on in the pregnancy.
I've been wearing all of my loose and longer fitting tops, not to hide the bump or anything...it's just WAY more comfortable and it covers the top of my pants, that may or may not be fastened at the top (girls gotta do what a girls gotta do). And then I'm wearing all of the stretchy and soft pants I can get my hands on (duh). And dresses, all the dresses are pretty much the best. Oh, and layering a jacket and accessories to feel put together and finished. I don't really wear heels that much, except for special occasions, so I am just wearing my booties, cute flats, and sandals when it's warm enough.
So when I spotted this stripe dress on Shopbop I knew I needed it on my body! And let me tell you ladies that are struggling with pieces that are comfortable, this one is worth it. It's super soft, stretchy, and cute! Which is hello, all that matters!
And for you ladies that aren't preggers and expecting your first babe, I found this adorable dress that you should wear ALL spring and summer long.
