It's been a little quite on this whole "maternity style" thing since we announced we're having a BABY this fall! (I seriously am so excited to be a mom!) I'm working through the what I can still wear from my "normal" wardrobe - which is basically mostly all of my tops and loose is dressed, but only a select few pairs of REALLLLY stretchy pants and jeans are tolerable. Anyone else feel this way at 15 weeks?

You might remember when I wore this midi dress in the fall. So, when I was going through my closet to see what would and wouldn't work for the bump I found this number hanging in my closet and knew it would be perfect for this new bod. I wanted to update the look and keep it casual for a weekend just running errands with the Mr. So, I tied my trusty chambray shirt around my waist to cover up the not so cute parts of pregnancy (y'all know what I'm talkin' about). I knew I wanted to kept the look sporty and comfy and wore my trusty Nike Internationalists (these are seriously the best). Oh and of course I topped it off with a dainty short necklace and a long delicate necklace to finish off the look.

The Mr. was a little unsure of the look at first, but I have to say I would totally wear this again. And I would totally rock a pair of caramel sandals with a thick heel to make the look feel a little bit more elevated, for a date night or something like that. Now what do you think? Do you dig this sporty look?

xo,
