Falling for Fall with BR

When it comes to fall the most exciting part is definitely how rich and embellished the textures are. Plus, it's like the kick off to the fashion season! Just like a new school year! So, when I found this citron velvet blazer at Banana Republic and this embellished sleeveless top I was in heaven! I tried on the whole store but knew both of these pieces would stand the test of time, plus be easy to wear once Mr. B is here. Not sure how I'll wash the tank exactly, but hey, we'll get to that road soon enough. Some girlfriends did ask me how I would wash it, when we were at dinner the other night, and I figure I'll turn it inside out and throw it in a delicates bag on hand wash. If you have any other tips let me know! 

And this bright citron velvet blazer had my attention from the moment I walked in the door. I always love this color for fall because it works so well with every neutral, especially leopard. Thank you Jenna Lyons for making that a real fashion rule, leopard is a neutral incase you were wondering. I can definitely envision wearing this blazer with a leopard top and black pants and brown booties this fall or even with a stripe dress and riding boots during this summer to fall transition! Man I am getting excited!
