There's a new cycling studio in town and it's about to open at Town Center! It's called CycleBar and it's stunning! The studio is located on the north side of Town Center Plaza next to Things Remembered. I sat down with their team to get all the info on CycleBar and can I just say, everyone there is so nice and comforting that I actually want to go and try it out. So here's the deal. The classes are 50 minutes long, the instructors are incredible and creative where they've created the best playlists that you can download after the class. They've designed and stocked the place with everything you need, so all you have to do is literally just bring yourself! You sign up online, pick your bike, and once you're in the class you can select to keep your name on the board or not, also the instructors will know if you're new and make sure you're confident and understand how to do everything. If you're competitive you'll want to keep your name up on that board, and fight for the number one spot. If you're not so sure about yourself yet, then select one of those back spots and enjoy the ride. Check out this video to see what the whole experience is all about.
The FREE Private Rides start on February 6th and run thru the 15th. If you're interested in connecting with the owner of CycleBar, let me know! They are partnering with groups and organizations of all types to schedule a Private Ride at CycleBar®Leawood just for y'all. On February 16th, they'll start their CycleBlast promotion where all classes are FREE for everyone to try CycleBar®. CycleBlast continues through February 26th and February 27th our regular schedule of classes begin! So, let me know if you're down to do a class, as I am excited to try it!
So, now we can talk about what the heck to actually wear to these classes!! I am 4 months postpartum and still have some pounds to loose so, I am down with these leggings because they are high waisted! Plus, that sheer panel is killer! Right? Then I loved the strings of this bra and the mesh fabric of the blue tank is perfect for a super sweaty workout, which this cycling workout is! The scarf is so soft and will look so good with anything black and white, in your regular life, score. Just like this black and white jacket is so chic that I thought it'd be perfect to wear to class and after, of course. Plus, this bag! It's so chic and can totally go from work to workout, don't you think!?
Now, tell me, have you cycled before? What did you like about CycleBar? As I'm super excited but a little nervous about the classes!
