When it comes to events in Kansas City, Kansas City Fashion Week has to be hands down one of the highlights of my year. Truly! The whole team works so hard to ensure each day and event is worthy of the name sake. I was pretty excited to attend their Bubbly and Bowties black tie event for the first time this year, and was blown away by the entire event!
I knew I needed to find a look that would be up to the standards of this gorgeous event, and my first stop was to Macy's at Town Center. I was pretty excited to find this rust long shift dress for the event. I knew it would look nice with my thrifted (yes, thrifted) fur stole. I added my black strappy sandals and long gold earrings keep the overall look very sleek. While I was at Macy's I found a few other options to wear here, here, here, and here.
It was hosted in the r24 Studios in the West Bottoms, their space was plum full of gorgeous black, white, gold, and glazed furniture and paintings. There were stunningly designed pockets of interior living spaces, where you could sit and chat, it was wonderful! The champagne sponsored by Cooper's Hawk Winery was flowing and went perfectly with the chocolates from Delish Catering. The Dior makeup team was at the event to help spruce up anyone's look! Their aesthetic is stunning and perfect for the event's over all style! It was such a fun activity for the event. It was also fun to play in the photo booth as well!
It was a very fun event that I can't wait to attend again!
