My first official Mother's Day is coming up and I'm so excited! Truly, I have always dreamed of being a mama and always loved babies, especially because my little sister let me practice with her. I absolutely LOVE it. Bennett is truly the best baby, and has the best temperament. He's so sweet and we are starting to see his little personality too, and it's feisty, he is mine after all. But man it's also super stressful. And if I think about it long enough the idea of being a mom is so overwhelming. It's tough, knowing how to do the right things for them, every moment and, ensuring he develops correctly. All the while juggling everything else too. I'm pretty sure wine exists for mamas. Right!?
So onto how to spoil the mamas in your life this Mother's Day, here are my wish list items:
1. BRUNCH - La Bodega, North, or Bristol are my favs! Check out the full list of restaurants at Town Center here!
2. HAIR - how about a gift certificate to Parlor, so your lovely lady can have someone else do her hair! Oh, and be sure to have the babysitter on standby!
3. NAILS - Call up SalonOne19 and get your gal a set of perfectly polished nails to make her feel put together and pampered too!
4. FLOWERS - This will sound too easy, but go to Trader Joe's! They have gorgeous flowers and the price can't be beat! Here's a cute little tutorial to make them look like you put some real effort into them!
5. PRESENTS - You know she needs to be spoiled, so here are my favorite presents to show her you love her!
There's also a super amazing 'Celebrate Mom Fashion Show' happening THIS SATURDAY, May 6th at 1pm at Macy's at Town Center! All the models are MAMAS and their babies are in the show and it's going to be so incredible! I'm formally inviting you to come, and cheer incredibly loudly! And there's going to be some sweet stuff with Cycle Bar and Salon One19 too! ALSO, the whole freakin' store is 30% OFF, and so you definitely need to come out and support these incredible ladies!!
