The postpartum weight gain was a real struggle for me. I was one of the lucky ones that lost a TON of my baby weight almost immediately from breast feeding, but then that stopped, and the wine flowed. The yoga pants replaced real pants, and oh I kept eating like I was breast feeding, and ya, I got to my heaviest yet. So, I finally took a long hard look in the mirror and started the Keto diet after my dad told me about his success with it. And I just didn't feel like myself. And that I had to change! So I did! But, yall I am not here to give nutritional advice, I'm here to give my style advice on how to style that post-baby body and what pieces I have loved along this wild journey.

JEANS where the first thing that I needed to feel normal again. And for me I always love a mid rise jean that has some stretch but doesn't stretch out. So here are some of the pieces that I have loved to wear again and again!

TOPS were a doozy! I always love a good peplum anything really. And I focused more on tops with a print or a pretty detail that made me feel feminine. I tried to stear away from super loose and oversized tops as those tend to just make me look bigger than I am. So, here are a few of the tops I've loved that will help flatter the postpartum body and transition well once you're back to yourself too.

SHOES weren't something I thought I would have to think about. But, my feed did grow a half size while I was pregnant and that fun change stayed around for quite a while. So, I did grab a few new pairs of shoes to spruce up my wardrobe to get me through. Here's a few that are worth grabbing to get you through.

LIPS Yep, lipstick. Let's just be real here. You probably are one day three-ish of dry shampooing and aren't quite sure if you brushed your teeth this morning or last night. But, you will want to feel human even pretty! So slap on some lipstick that makes you feel good, you deserve it!

I hope this helps you new mamas navigate your style a bit easier and don't let it fade, just because you're a "mom" now! Have fun with a few new pieces to keep yourself feelin' fresh!
