Teal is always going to be my favorite color, for like ever! So, when the KC designer More Than Just Fig Leaves showed this gorgeous midi skirt (with POCKETS) I knew I had to wear it! Like, immediately obsessed! Along with the cropped top to pair with it, so chic isn't it!?

When it comes to playing with proportions I'm pretty into them. I'm gonna break down this look and how I came together. The midi skirt takes up 2/3 of my, hmmmm well body. And I knew if I added a jacket that was long, it would make we look super frumpy. So I paired it with a semi cropped suede jacket and tucked in a flutter sleeve top. My favorite surprise of this outfit is the flutter sleeves poking out from the sleeves. The seams met up perfectly and just looks tailored, just right! Plus, I love the shade of the blouse and how it plays so nicely with the skirt. I normally would have paired a pair of pumps with this style of skirt, but I wanted this look to feel more everyday and these fur mules are basically house shoes. So, that's a win!
