Do y'all remember about a year ago and I was getting all intentional about all the things I was buying for my wardrobe? And how I wasn't going to buy anything striped? And then I wasn't going to buy things that like, I couldn't wear to like every event, that could possibly pop-up!? Like, what a ridiculous amount of pressure and an unrealistic expectations. Especially now with a toddler running around, I now have way different needs than I did a year ago. And that's just how it is going to go. And that's the greatest thing about fashion, it's always there and always evolving. And there's always SOMETHING that I'll find for whatever needs I have. Always. I mean think about all the stores and brands that you know about, and all the options they carry. There's always good stuff to be found.

This spring (that has basically turned into summer over night) I felt like I needed to find another bottom option for; meetings with my styling clients, days when I run around with Bennett, or just meeting a girlfriend for coffee and DON'T just want to wear jeans, and a summery option for summer. And this fun yellow floral midi skirt is just the perfect piece, plus it has pockets (I know, you just added it to your basket). The length is perfect for meeting with clients and wearing a more glamorous top and classic pumps with it. As for a day mommin' with Bennett, I would grab one of my favorite tees, a denim jacket, and white sneakers to wear with the floral skirt. Then this outfit (the one above) is pretty perfect for a coffee date with a girlfriend, right!? Love, the stripe tee to make it feel casual, and the pops of color in the orange mules (that are way more comfortable with the cushy straps), lilac cross body, and blue statement earrings.

I've come to re-realize that I am just a girl, always on the hunt for all things practical and chic. And when it appears, I'm gonna need to have it. So, if you've been on the hunt for a fun skirt for summer, this one is pretty awesome!
