Y'all know I love a good black and white number, you can bet it was love at first sight when I spotted this one-shoulder ruffle floral Scoobie dress at The Kindred Shops! I love the thick fabric and the oversized ruffle. It kind of gives me Sex and the City movie vibes, like this dress that Carrie wore. Ya feel me? So, yeah it's so great! I love the shift body style and the length is just right. I also think it would super cute with a metallic skinny belt with black tights and black booties too! Can you see it!?
I think it would look great with black pumps for a summer wedding, bridal shower, or even a special wedding anniversary! It's such a pretty number that I know will be worn year after year! I am wearing it in a Large, which with my pear shape body type, is definitely the normal size I would wear anywhere. I say that because my bottom is the largest part of me, and with the style of a shift dress (runs straight from bust to hip) if I were to fit my bust, the bottom would be suffocated. And it would look cray! So, yeah if you have a pear shape body, don't give up shift dresses, just go up a size and get the top tailored in, if it needs it. That's a easy tailoring!
I found this hot number at The Kindred Shops at Oak Park Mall. Have y'all been in there yet? It's a really cool store that's right next to Nordstrom (I know you're excited about that fun fact) and it always full of incredibly cute pieces! Ya know when you just need something new to add to your wardrobe, and have those places you know you'll find just the right thing? This is your new spot. There's about 12-16 vendors that carefully find beautiful pieces that affordable prices. I'd say the average range of the pieces are like $30-$80 or so. And they have accessories too! They have shoes, earrings, bags and even some sweet home decor pieces too! Their team does a great job with the curation of the pieces so it all flows so nicely and looks like one fun shop! I'm so pumped to be showing you all this look from one of my personal favorite vendors, Scoobie! Y'all know I love the owner Sarah and love this sweet dress that is now avaialble at The Kindred Shops at Oak Park! Y'all need to definitely pop in a check it out! I know you'll find tons of great pieces you'll love!
