I've been on the hunt for the most perfect white sneaker to wear with dresses y'all! I don't know about y'all. But, I have been actually into studying athleisure looks and trying to figure out what I do and don't like about them. As y'all know I like to dress up so the idea of dressing down is just not my usual thing. But, lately I have been LOVING all the white sneakers with dresses! Have y'all noticed them too? I started digging around on all the sites to try and hunt down a perfect pair that I knew I would actually wear with dresses. That didn't feel too athletic or too safe. I say safe, as in borrowing. Also, I do have larger "athletic" legs, and wearing shoes that have a slimmer sole is not ideal. My legs have a lot of meat to them, therefore sneakers with a flat sole, just make my legs look like thick tree trunks. Which, I really don't care about in a negative way, it just is. So, with that I wanted to make sure I grabbed a pair of white sneakers that have a thick enough sole and a sturdier top part that would look chic and hold up well too. And can I just say I went everywhere to find the perfect pair. Thorough is the name of the game, and I was set on this mission and I was not about to let y'all down.
So, here are the styles of the perfect white sneakers that I love, that you can definitely wear with dresses, without any worry:
Now let's just talk about the dresses that you should be wearing with these sneakers. There's about like three different kinds. I love a shorter fuller skirted dress, a body con midi dress, and even floral midi dresses. I love the idea of wearing all of these dresses with denim jackets with the sneakers too! I would just recommend that if you're curvier like me, I would go short, and wear shorts with the dress. Or go long but let the dress hit around your mid calf. I don't want you to rock a maxi dress with the sneakers. Or like a cocktaily formal dress. But, otherwise, you can go for this look with all your semi casual dresses!
Here are my favorite dresses to wear with sneakers:
I'm so into this look, let me know below if you are feeling this too!
