When it comes to staying modest, I feel like layering appropriately is the way to go. But, I'm never a big fan of wearing tank tops underneath tops and dresses. Ya know what I mean? I just feel like the line the tank top creates, just cuts off the look. So, I thought I'd steal a styling note from my J.Crew days. I grabbed one of my favorite white button down tunics and threw it on underneath the adorable shift dress. When I first ordered this dress, I knew I would love the short sleeves, and shifty-flare skirt of the dress, but, I was a little weary of the deep v. As the girls are way larger than they used to be, the cleve can be out of control and not even on purpose. Ya know what I mean? So the white shirt layering trick totally made this look work!

What do you think? Would you layer a white button down underneath a deep v dress?
