Town Center: Hot Spots & Hot Legs
You guys there's a new three story amazing interior gold mind that just opened up at Town Center! And in case you haven't driven down 119th or Roe in foreves, it's Restoration Hardware! Yes, they are back and bigger and better than ever! I absolutely adore this amazing new space they just opened up last Friday. Every room is perfectly curated, which if you're visual like me, than it will just give you a ridiculous amount of inspiration and you'll love every minute. I personally really dig how the first floor is more their traditional style and feels very homey and rustic. Then the second floor is probably my favorite, there's a lot of black and white everywhere and is definitely their more modern style. And lastly the amazing rooftop patio, how amazing would it be to rent this out for a party!? I mean a girl can dream, right!?
Be sure to go check my favorite details from the new Restoration Hardware at Town Center Plaza below and there's some great tips on how to elongate those legs of yours too!
I love it when I get asked my advice on how to achieve a certain looks! So when I was asked about tips on how to make ones legs look longer I was actually excited to put my styling skills to the test. When I was on the hunt for looks I knew I could count on The Limited at Town Center Plaza to give me a classic but updated look. Have you shopped there in a bit, there stuff is super cute and definitely my favorite working gal place to shop.
Tip #1: Is for the gals that aren't a big fan of their mid sections but love their gams. You'll highlight your legs by wearing a fitted skirt and flowy top and booties that cut off at the smallest part of your ankle. That last part is imperative to achieve the look. If you go too low with the booties, than you're going to make your ankles and your legs look bigger than they are, and no one wants that, right!?
Tip #2: This is the most universally flattering look, highlighting your natural waist. Grab a fun printed high waisted skirt, tuck in a solid neutral blouse and wear nude pumps to make your bottom half look like it's longer and leaner than ever! Nude pumps will ALWAYS make your legs look longer, as they naturally elongate the leg and give the allusion that they never end. That works for me, what about?
Tip #3: Is a more casual look but can work for basically every body type, awesome, right!? This look is all about the high waisted jeans creating the longest legs ever. The cropped jacket, floral print top tucked into the high waisted jeans totally solidifies this look. Plus, adding a flat white sneaker shows off your tiny ankles making those legs look even longer!
Here is a break down of the pieces from each look from The Better KC segment! Enjoy!
