We always LOVE the 4th of July! It's always such a fun time to relax and hang out with our friends and family! And now with Bennett in our family it's even more special to make these kinds of occasions super special! We will be hosting and having friends over for a BBQ and I cannot wait! And I just got so excited to find looks for all of us to wear from all the great stores at Town Center Plaza and Crossing! I wanted them to look patriotic without being too literal, ya know what I mean!?
So, I found my navy stripe tank at EverEve, it's such a great women's clothing store for mamas! Then I spotted this white button up denim skirt from Madewell, it has just the perfect amount of stretch that I know will help when I’m chasing after Bennett during our BBQ. I love the pop of red this little printed bandana brings into the look from Madewell, the stripes on these sandals from J.Crew, and of course these star earrings from Madewell! The delicate layered necklace is easy and fun to wear layered on top of this tank and under the scarf without adding any fuss. I am no fuss kinda girl, I know it seems like I wouldn't be. But, it's one of my main fashion rules for putting together a look, if you're tugging or messing with anything you're wearing, change the look. No need to mess with something all the time, just change the fit or length of something so you can just enjoy wearing something special!
Now, onto the boys! I found this super cute red, white, and blue stripe tee for Kevin at J.Crew. I love the red, white, and blue with the red shorts from Gap. Both pieces run true to size, and look great with the navy blue Sperry's (they're so comfortable, even during the first wear) from J.Crew too! I love how this look came together and how Kev will be able to wear these pieces separately after the 4th too! I then fell for Bennett's little navy polka dot polo and plaid short combo as soon as I found them! I just love the kids clothes at Town Center, and love what I found for him at Macy's. His adorable chambray slip on shoes are from Gap, I love that these chambray shoes will also go so great with so many other outfits this summer! I just love shopping for Bennett's clothes, they're so darn cute!
