Y’all know I live for a good #bodycon style dress when I’m pregnant. I don’t know about the rest of you expecting mamas, but I have never felt more beautiful than when I am pregnant. As a girl that’s never had a flat stomach, and would NEVER wear a #bodycon dress out and about. Because the curves would be EVERYWHERE, and no thank you! It’s me, I know this, but now that I am pregnant, it is honestly a totally different story. A girlfriend and I were talking last week, and she was sharing how “She’s never felt prettier, than when she was pregnant.” And I totally feel her on this. I felt this way when I was pregnant with Bennett, and I just remember feeling like I was just so blown away by the whole experience and how amazing our bodies are. I love and embrace the curves, and love this stage of pregnancy. I think our bodies are so incredible, and getting to feel our girl grow, and move around is the best feeling.
And soooo, when I popped into Kindred, and tried on this yellow button bodycon dress, I knew it’d be a winner! I am a huge fan of pieces that have these brown buttons all the way down. The rich mustard tone, although normally is a very fall color, is such a popular color for spring as well! It’s bright and fresh and looks so great with all the summery accessories and colors. Y’all know I love a good denim jacket, and I wear mine like they are going out of style in the spring. I LOVE this one so much, and all the distressing, the length, I love it all. I also have to have the sleeves rolled up, it makes you look taller when your calves and wrists are showing. So definitely show them off! Onto accessories, I love these classic gold hoops, they go with everything and make a nice statement without being too much. This stripe bag has my name all over it. I love the size, the texture, and it’s just the cutest, summer bag! And of course, keepin’ it casual and easy to do life in, a solid pair of platform converse, they’re so comfy!
