Black turtleneck with cropped wide leg jeans

I've had my eye on these jeans for over a year. But, ya know, I wasn't really willing to try the cropped wide leg jean look last year with the whole baby bump thing wouldn't be that flattering and all ;). As a front tuck is pretty necessary for this look. Ya know, because showing off the waist is the style tip any pear shaped gal can do.

I have to say, when I first tried these babies on, I was a bit apprehensive. As they're super trendy and I'd rather spend dollars on pieces that will last for awhile, ya know!? But, I wore this little outfit out and about the day we shot this look, and I actually liked it, and got a few compliments on it too. Talk about a mood booster!

I'll definitely be wearing these more and more this spring and summer. I've got a ruffly, floral top in mind that I think would look pretty cute with it. As, adding a pop of color up top will definitely bring the eye up! I also plan on wearing wide leg cropped jeans with heels, as it is definitely more flattering for this curvier gal to add height with cropped pants. I'm a big fan of these little leopard pumps as they're pretty easy to maneuver in.
