Bennett's turning the big 1-8 months ( I can barely believe he turned 1, let alone that it's been 6 months) old super soon and I thought it would be so fun to have some professional photos taken of all of us! So, when I saw that Jordan Photography was doing Photos (with live bunny) photos at Town Center Plaza I thought it would be something special! And at least see how a toddler and bunnies would mix (ya know what I mean)!? And much to our surprises, Bennett stayed still, and actually really liked petting the bunnies. And hilariously they stayed still too! The bunnies were so calm and sweet and just stayed still too. Which is nuts because can you imagine a hyper bunny with a crazy toddler? That's what I thought might be the scenario! But, it was awesome!! And the photographer was so kind, quick, and made sure we got the shots we wanted! Along with his assistant that would help spin Bennett or the bunny to get the shot. It was very cool! So, if you're thinking about going, I would definitely recommend it and get in quick! Now, I know the idea of planning family photos can be overwhelming! But, here are a few tips that I live by that definitely make the whole plan come together quickly! Plus, these bunny photos are NOT meant for the parents to be included in....Yep, so there's that! But, they graciously let us take photos with Bennett, which I loved! So, here's what I did to make these photos come together!
1. Pick one family member to style first - Bennett took the prize for these pictures! When I found this pink and blue gingham shirt apart of the SJP x GAP Easter collab, I thought it was just the shirt for this! And I thought a pair of khaki pants and leather sneakers would be just cute!
2. Then I went to put Kevin's outfit together and I knew I wanted him to wear this gray blazer and jeans. And spotted this printed shirt that would look so nice with a brown belt and brown shoes!
3. Believe it or not, I put my outfit together last! I wanted to find something that fused Bennett's and Kevin's outfits and that was also a bit more on the subtle side. So, when I spotted this dress at LOFT I knew it would be just the thing to do it! Plus adding in these earrings and mules, the whole look just came together beautifully!
I love how they turned out! And how sweet is Bennett with the bunnies and the little chick too! These are too sweet! I'm so glad we decided to go for it!
I have to say the team at Jordan Photography really blew us away. The whole experience was easy, lighthearted, fun, and quick! Bennett did so well with the bunnies and chicks, which was so sweet!
