Nordstrom Sale 2020
That’s right, even during a pandemic the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is on people. It did get delayed this year. And I am glad it did. I still am barely leaving my house, and barely have a reason to shop for clothes. Just being honest. But, also it’s me. I don’t really need a reason to shop. And that is why I wanted to write this post about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I love this sale. It’s a pre-fall sale if you haven’t shopped it before. So the items that are being sold, are BRAND NEW at a discount. Hellllllo! For a girl that loves to identify trends and help my clients find the ones that work best. This time of year is reallly fun! So, with that I have some of my favorite items I have purchased in the past, why I think you should snag them, and of course pieces that are included in this year’s sale that I have my eye on too. And I have included some fun home decor pieces too. I have been having a BALL redecorating and making our home more functional and cute during quarantine. And have big plans to incorporate more home decor into this space. So get excited!! Here we go:
My past favorite Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Items
J.Crew Leopard Sweater Jacket - I bought this baby last year and have worn it in every season. It’s the best sweater weight material. The bomber jacket silhouette makes it feel updated and cool compared to a classic cardigan. It’s definitely one I love to toss on with a graphic tee and jeans.
Barefoot Dreams Cardigan - I bought this last year in anticipation for sweet Georgia’s arrival. I knew I’d want something cozy and yummy to just toss on, either in the middle of the night or to wear over a simple nursing tank. I felt like I was always trying to find something cute and cozy when I was freshly home with Bennett. And boy was I right. I love it still to throw on when I’m just a bit chilly. The fabric is THE SOFTEST ever. And this leopard printed one is my favorite.
Tan Moto Jacket - has been a piece I’ve have for almost 4 years. It’s a killer staple that I wear all the time in the fall. Another cool piece you can wear over a graphic tee with jeans, or even a cute printed dress and booties. I mean I did even wear it with a loose vneck and denim shorts here. It’s such a versatile piece, I know I’ve loved it and you will too.
Dark Skinny Jeans - The most classic piece as they come. I love to get a new pair every fall. And I 100% wear these are least once a week. I love this style because of the high waist cut, the stretchy material and the whiskering detail that’s faint.
Zella Black Leggings - These get a TON of hype every year. I’m not a huge yoga pant wear-er. So, I was game to give them a try. And I love them. They are thick. They hold you in. And if you’re in a pinch, you can totally get away with wearing them as a tight with a dress and booties. But, like only if you’re in a a huge pinch. You feel me.
Zella Black Joggers - so last year I snatched these up much like the other cozier pieces. I knew I’d want to have a simple pair of joggers that I would be able to just pull on and go. And these are awesome. They have a good weight to the fabric, and I wear them at least once a week.
Gorgana long horn necklace - Another fun piece that I wear all the time when I need a necklace that will fall really long. It’s perfectly dainty and goes with basically everything. One of my favorite purchases of 2019. For sure!
Kate Spade sparkle studs - these are just so fun! I bought these at my very first Nordstrom Sale. I was so blown away that Nordstrom had Kate Spade on sale. And I just couldn’t get over all the pretty colors in the glitter. I knew I needed them!
Madewell Leopard Slides - I’m going to sound like a broken record. But, here we are. I wore these countless times in the fall and winter (on days that weren’t insanely cold of course). But, I just love the small cheetah print that so easily goes with everything! If you need a shoe you can just slip on and go. This one is so good! (Now I want to get them and wear them).
Marc Fisher Alva Black Bootie - These are such a beautiful bootie. I found these when I was on the hunt for a gorgeous real leather bootie with a taller (but not killer) heel. I love to wear these booties with jeans for a date night or with a dress too. I had the bunion part of my left shoe stretched out in store, and that made all the difference for me. You can go into the store and have them do that to new pairs. And I am so grateful they can.
Madewell Sneaker - I wear these weekly. I love the subtle designs and the classic silhouette of the overall design. They are comfortable and feel good on the foot. And those black details are so good! So chic and so classic and will go with anything and everything.
My 2020 favorite Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Items
Grey Sweater - Such a great piece to wear with black leggings and even update them to the Spanx pair with black booties. Chic and easy peasy.
Gold Necklace - I love the simple classic chain and love how easy this would be to layer with basically every gold necklace that is around. So cute!
Huggie Earrings - Another newer classic that I definitely recommend everyone have in their jewelry box. And if you have a second piercing. These are so perfect to wear. As they’re small enough to show off any other earring, especially one styled on a hook.
Olive Quilted Jacket - The perfect playground jacket. And the price is insane, for basically two jackets since it is reversible. I think this is so cute and would look good worn just around town casually.
Black Skinny Jeans - If you haven’t invested in a GREAT (aka more expensive) pair of black jeans, this pair is incredible. It is hands down my favorite fit. They pinch the waist and just make everyone look insane in them!
Spanx Faux Leather Leggings - Another cult favorite, these leggings get all the hype. I dig them! They elevate a casual look and will suck you in like crazy! And I am always a fan of that.
Pink Top - I am always on the hunt for pinks in the fall and winter months. Everything can always be so drab, and neutral. Which is great, because they go together and will everything. BUT, it does get boring. So, I wanted to highlight this baby because she can be worn with jeans or even a stunning skirt for a more dressy / business-y look too.
Cream Lace Top - Talk about gorgeous! I love that eye lash lace hem line. This is one of those pieces that you save in your closet and are always so happy to have - when you have a last minute even pop-up. It can be worn in the fall and winter and even into the spring too. As long as it’s styled with the appropriate things of course.
Brown Wool Hat - the soft warm tones in this hat is so good. This will look fab with the rusty browns and yellows from 2019 fall. And covering up those roots during Zoom calls too.
Gray Hat - I have one similar to this and wear the heck out of it every fall. I love gray it’s my favorite solid neutral for sure. I think this would look so good with a black blazer, printed shirt and jeans for just an everyday look.
Leopard Crossbody - OBSESSED with this combo! Hello, I mean, it’s a leopard purse (Yes) and it has a black and white stripe strap. I am so here for it. The size is a bit on the small size. But I mean for a casual park day or trip to the grocery store, or whatever you’re into and can do, this purse is so good!
Sunglasses - I’m just real obsessed with the silhouette of these. I think they definitely change up your look and update it for the better. They’re so chic - I love them.
Tweed Handbag - Also obsessssed with this bag too. It’s HUGE and would be so cute for work or just everyday life. I love all the pops of color in the tweed and rough looking skull on the bag too. The straps are the kind that can go from a crossbody to a shoulder bag super easily. And that is hands down one of my favorite styles of bags. It’s so easy to change it up if need be.
Croc Booties - I adore this color and the texture of these booties. You could totally wear them with dresses, cropped jeans and even skinny jeans tucked into them of course.
White Booties - A style of shoe I was on the mad hunt for last year. I have a very casual pair of white booties. But I can’t tell you how many times I’d start to get dressed and then would think, “You know what pair would go SO well with that cute outfit!?” - OH you know it. A fresh pair of bright white / dressier booties, that’s what!
Teal Booties - Hi, I cannot even reason with you on how much I LOVE these things. This is hands down my favorite color. Like ever. I have it somewhere in basically every single room in my house and just love that they came out with a bootie to match!
Glitter High Top Sneakers - These are a wild card for sure. But, I really love this brand, and think they’re so fun! They don’t come up too high either so I think it make the leg look longer. Which I know I am so game for.

Diffusers - These scents are absolutely incredible! They’re so great to have out in any room. I am a big fan of having these in your closet too!
Barefoot Dreams blanket - This is another cult favorite. I totally bought it last year. And it’s AMAZING! It feels like a kinetic sand of blankets. It basically molds to you and is SO soft!
Candles Set - This is one of those things to have on hand when you need a gift in a pinch. I have given them as hostess gifts in the past. And it’s so fun to customize them.
Serving Board - I’m obsessed with this thing. Like, I am itching to just purchase it. Random for sure. But, I love it. And I will 100% use it to house my skincare routine.
Plush Blanket - This super soft blanket is amazing and comes in a million different colors. So there’s really is one for everyone. Plus, these are on sale for only $25!
Gold Wine Rack - I love a simple gold wine holder. We have a similar one and I just LOVE it. This one is classic - it would look so cute in any space.
Cool Lips artwork -This piece of artwork is so good. It reminds me a lot of the artwork in Georgia’s room.
Diffuser - I love diffusing oils, I love this one. And the cut outs are so pretty and fun!
Mountains artwork - I love this image and think it would look so good - basically anywhere. Maybe a hallway or bathroom.
Bedding - This caught my eye so quickly. Kev and I had been talking about new bedding. And we haven’t really scene anything that we both love. But, man. I do love this one so much~
Stemless Wine Glasses - These are just way too cute! The light pink is so pretty and would make such an incredible gift!
