Kimo - Now

KImono c/o Tulip, Black dress c/o Tulip, Frye booties c/o Piperlime, Rebecca Minkoff mini mac c/o Shopbop, Target sunnies, Frankie and Jules dainty necklace, LMK arrowhead necklace similar here and here, J.Crew necklace (old) similar here and here, David Yurman ring

I love that spring has spring in KC - even though it is chilly and gross today - this look is perfect for spring. The kimono is back for a fun spring trend and this one has a great print and I love the fringe on bottom. This particular style has a capped kimono styled sleeve that is awesome for the ladies that like a little bit of arm cover (hand up here). And since the pattern is black and cream (may favs) I paired it with a simple black tee shirt dress (also from Tulip on the Plaza) to bring in one of the "colors" in the kimono.

STYLING TIP: When creating a look with any printed kimono be sure to pull in one of the colors from the kimono. I also think it's a great idea to have that piece (a dress is you best bet) be a solid color and even with a little texture is good too. You can definitely wear a cute tank and jeans under a kimono too. It's a great pieces to layer this spring.

Now I am in need of your assistance, if you be so kind to vote for me in the Tulip Twist Facebook Contest I would love it! If I receive the most votes on today's post you all could win a Tulip gift card! How awesome is that!?
